The station has been in existence since March 2007. On the 105.2 FM frequency, it replaced the old station "Saga," which had seen a significant decline in ratings. The station is part of the "Smooth" network, the majority of whose frequencies are managed and owned by the large corporation "GLOBAL." However, there are also a few third-party licenses issued to the company "Communicorp" under a franchise agreement.
