Capital Manchester 102.0 live – a local radio station broadcasting from its own small headquarters in Spinningfields (Manchester). It is managed by «Global Radio», which owns it. The main transmitter of the station is located on Piccadilly, atop the City Tower. Today's audience attracts tens of thousands of listeners daily.
Until 1994, the frequency on which the station broadcasts was used by another project – "Sunset". After that, Faze FM became the license holder for this frequency and launched a station called "Kiss". After some time, the corporation merged into «Global Radio», which under its management gathered several radio stations, including this one. It was then that it received its current name, as well as its broadcasting format. The programming is aimed at a metropolitan audience and is not only musical but also conversational. It covers news, weather, public and major events, as well as hosting competitions.
