Capital FM London live – a capital British radio station, one of the few that broadcasts on FM frequencies. It holds regional significance and is part of the Capital radio network. It is owned by Global Radio, which manages it. As the station's playlist consists solely of the best contemporary music with high popularity, it regularly claims and receives the title of "London's Number 1 Hit Music Station." The station was founded in 1970, with David Mall-Finch as its visionary founder. However, its first broadcast took place only in 1973, immediately after the station received the prestigious "London General Entertainment" award from the IBA. There are now various formats available to tune in, including DAB, FM, Virgin Media, Freesat, and Freeview. The station hosts festivals that attract world-class stars.
